The new RFDS website CMS consists of three key things:

1. Templates:  These are designed and unchangeable templates for page types.  In the upper-level navigational there are many different templates, and within the RFDS in your state there are a handful.

Templates are important as they maintain the integrity, design and feel of the website. They ensure there is consistency in the way pages look and they also make the website easier to read and use.

2. Regions: The templates within the website have different Regions. Some have 2 or 3 regions and others just have the 1. These regions (such as Upper, Main and Bottom) allow for different content to be manipulated and adjusted to suite needs, while still maintaining the basic integrity of the templates. If there are different regions on a page you will find the details listed just under the Meta Title and Meta Description.

3. Content Types: There are specific Content Types that have been created for the website, including the use of images, video, text, pull-outs from other pages, quotes, 2-column and 3-column tiles and more. Different Templates accommodate different content types. Content types can be added by holding your mouse over the spanner that you will find in the CMS for each page.
