This feature enables you to adapt URLs to the 'www.flyingdoctor.com/...' domain. This allows you to maintain authenticity and minimise confusion when sharing URLs across print, social media, and audio platforms.
Example use: You have a donation URL that needs to be directed for a new campaign spanning print and social media. The current URL is 'https://donate.rfdssant.com.au/ashstory2024'. However, as it uses a domain different from the official RFDS, it is necessary to adjust it to ensure its legitimacy.
Steps:
1) Go to the 'Redirects' page within the backend CMS site.
2) Click on 'add redirect'.

3) In box 'a', create a new URL by entering your desired slug. The created URL MUST follow this naming convention: /[section/operation abbreviation]-[desired title]/
4) In box 'b', paste the URL of the site you want to direct traffic to.
5) Select box 'c' if the link redirect is permanent, and there is no end date to when the site or link will be no longer used.
Unselect box 'c' if the link redirect is temporary, with the redirect only needing to be active for a set amount of time e.g. for a campaign or event.

6) Click save.
Result:
When users click or search for the created URL (e.g. 'https://www.flyingdoctor.org.au/sant-ashstory2024/'), they will be seamlessly redirected to the redirected site (e.g. 'https://donate.rfdssant.com.au/ashstory2024').
